"What The Fuck?" points out the limited scope of the equation. The "If" itself calls into question the rest of the formula "Power + Privilege = Racism". Does the the equation explain the need to use "of color" in the post? No.
ReplyDeleteJames Baldwin once mused that, upon coming back to the States, he realized he had not had a conversation concerning race in weeks. He surmised this nation is race obsessed. No doubt, there is a strong dose of ism to go with it and it is a part of what ails us in this violent, strange culture.
